Overall, I think this chapter is so helpful when it comes to writing. Specifically, I like how in-depth it went into citations, along with creating the works cited and its many ways for a multitude of sources. You do not really think about how many sources you can have for a general paper, but the chapter explains how extensive it can be. I also liked that it went over MLA and APA, not just one of them. I wish it would have covered more though to give examples for someone that had to use a different style for their intended major or paper. I also appreciated that it covered plagiarism and how to avoid it; I feel like as a student you don’t intend to plagiarize, but sometimes are mistaken in the fact that you do. The chapter helps you avoid being in that conundrum with clear examples and in-depth analysis. I feel as though we must be educated upon this information, because it is possible a lot of our high school English teachers did not cover as in-depth as the chapter did.
